Last night I was preparing a lesson for my eight year old Sunday School kids. The lesson suggested I make salt dough for the kids to shape their most treasured possession. I remembered the last time I made salt dough with the lesson manual’s recipe, it was all grainy and didn’t feel very nice. Then I remembered a pin that I’ve seen going around Pinterest for How Does She’s play dough recipe.
It. Is. AMAZING. It’s so smooth and soft and squishy, It’s perfect. I want to make some of every color and give it to all the children of the world… or maybe just my nephews. They’re probably getting some for their birthdays, since I bought them too many Christmas presents already.
Just click the pretty picture and it’ll take you right to the recipe. The only thing I did differently was use my gel food coloring, I mixed it in the water before adding it to the rest of the ingredients.
